Support The Madressa

Alhamdulillah, the S I Madressa has come a long way over the last few years with all sorts of assistance from members of the community, parents of children who are students in the Madressa, our staff, our students themselves, and many more silent workers who commit to a cause that is evolving to enable nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

There are three ways you can contribute to the S I Madressa.

Image Recruitment DONATE YOUR TIME

Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir [A] says "For the teacher of good, all the animals on the land and the fish in the sea seek forgiveness on his behalf as do all creatures great and small in Allah's earth and sky"

The Madressa currently relies on 200+ volunteers who perform a variety of tasks from: teaching; assisting teachers; supporting our students with special learning needs; managing health and safety in our car parks; setting up our classrooms and clearing them away; helping our administrators; supporting management staff etc.

The minimum requirement for our volunteers is that they have a passion to see our children educated about Islam in a way that will inculcate the love of the religion into their hearts.

Volunteers who have this passion together with an hour or two to spare on Sundays either every week or every other week are welcome to assist either at Stanmore or Kenmore Park School and should complete this form.

Every year well wishers come forward to donate to the Madressa and their continued support is vital to smooth running of the Madressa. Just to provide an idea of the scale of our operations, we currently cater for just under 1,000 students and 200 staff members split over two sites, in Stanmore and in Kenton.

Operations aside, each year we also aim to provide all possible resources to our staff and students to ensure that their learning experiences within the Madressa are maximised. The only limitations on these provisions is funding.

An outline of some of our major costs are as follows:
1. Hire of Kenmore Park School: circa £15,000 p/a
2. Staff: circa £20,000 - £25,000 p/a
3. Printing: circa £5,000 - £7,500 p/a
4. Madressa Educational Investment: circa £5,000 - £8,000 p/a
5. IT Investment: circa £5,000 p/a
