Assignment Late Submission Policy
A reminder, further to previous communications already sent out, that the Madressa will not be accepting late submissions of assignments unless there are extenuating circumstances which have been informed to the Madressa in writing prior to the deadline.
3 Tins Donations - Stanmore site In taking our learning from the mother of the Aimma (A) into practical action we would like to request parents, teachers and learners to bring in three items of tinned food to donate to Sufra NW, a food bank in Brent that runs to serve the food poverty in the local communities.
In so doing we seek to earn the pleasure of Allah (swt) though following the practice of Lady Fatemah (A) and members of the Holy Household in feeding the orphan, the needy and the prisoner as told by Sura 76 verse 8 in the Holy Quran.
Your donations can be placed in the yellow wheelie bin outside gents entrance where members from Sufra NW will be present to carry it back to the food bank and distribute it to the most deserving
Sufra - HED Talk @ 11.45am
We invite you to a talk by the founder of Sufra NW, Mohammed Sadiq Mamdani in the ELC on the first floor starting at 11:45 to 12:45 to tell us more about how Sufra aims to put verse 76:8 into practical action. Both ladies and gents are welcome to participate in the presentation. You will gain a deeper understanding of issues of hunger and need in our localities and what practical steps can be taken to assist those in greatest need. HED Department
