Message from our Car Park Volunteers
Further to our email last week, there are a few more small messages from the Car Park Volunteers. Your cooperation is, as always, appreciated. These reminders are:
1) Please avoid using the Aspire Centre for turning around your vehicle; please use go all the way down to the end of the road
2) When approaching the Centre from Warren Lane and you see the no right turn sign, please turn left and come back to the Centre so that you approach from the left.
Date Change
Please note that there was an error in the 2014 Planning Calendar received in your Welcome Packs. The date for Easter Sunday was incorrectly stated as 6th April, whereas it should have been 20th April. Madressa will now be closed on 13th April and 20th April and remain open on 6th April.
SIM Syria £1 Appeal
The Madressa, on behalf of the World Federation of KSIMC, would like to thank all parents, guardians, students and volunteers for their generosity in the £1 collection for the Syrian Refugee Appeal. The grand total of the funds raised was £1,412.31, far exceeding our £1,000 target alhamdulillah.
MCE Curriculum Feedback Form
The World Federation Madrasah Centre of Excellence have provided a feedback form for all teachers to fill up and return to SIM. The feedback is in relation to the draft MCE Curriculum Framework. The form can be found here; please take the time to fill it in.
