Term 3 Assessments

Please find details of the Term 3 Assessmets for all classes, below.
Classes 1-2
This year, Classes 1-2 will not have formal assessments. Instead, teachers will utilise the assessment period to recap each respective class syllabus.
Teachers will undertake activities to indirectly assess individual progress as well as understanding. There will be no percentage marking with the aim being to ensure that the students retain what has been covered throughout the year including key facts and important information.

Qur'an - It is important for students to recite the Holy Qur'an daily for 5-10 minutes to enable smooth and quick progress

Az-Zahra Assessments - The Az-Zahra Assessments will take place as normal starting on Sunday 13th October, 2013 until Sunday 3rd November, 2013. Class 1 will be tested on the Kalimah. Class 2 will be tested on Adhan and Iqamah for Fiqh, and the names of the 12 Imams for Tareekh. |
Classes 3-4
Classes 3 and 4 will have assessments for Term 3 in Fiqh, Tareekh, and Akhlaq. The topics they are to revise are outlined below. Please click on the relevant topics to download the PDF syllabus per subject, per class.
Akhlaq Assessment - 20th October, 2013
Class 3: Topics 1, 2, 7, and 9
Class 4: Topics 1, 4-6, and 10-13
Fiqh Assessment - 27th October, 2013
Class 3: Topics 9-12, 15-17
Class 4: Topics 4-17
Tareekh Assessment - 03rd November, 2013
Class 3: Topics 2-3, 8-9, 10, and 12-13
Class 4: Topics 5-11, and 14

Az-Zahra Assessments - The Az-Zahra Assessments will take place as normal starting on Sunday 29th Septemberr, 2013 until Sunday 3rd November, 2013. Class 3 will be tested on Wudhu (this assessment will take place without water). |
Classes 5+
Fiqh Assessments - will take place on Sunday 27th October, 2013. Revision list will be posted on Sunday 6th October, 2013.
Tareekh Assessments - The Tareekh Department has organised a 'Tareekh Day' on 20th October, 2013. This day is mandatory for students to attend; as a revision day for the Tareekh Assessments that will take place on Sunday 3rd November, 2013. Further details to be posted on Sunday 13th October, 2013.
