Parents Evening will be held this year on Friday 16th September.
Each year we hold Parents’ Evening in order to allow parents to obtain feedback on their children’s progress, as well as to provide parents with the opportunity to discuss with teachers how positive changes can be made both in class and at home in order to enhance the children’s progress for the remainder of the academic year.
The appointment system allows parents to choose a time slot on Friday 16th September which is suitable for them. Whilst these allocated time slots are not appointments slots, they allow parents to choose a time of convenience to arrive and meet their child’s respective teachers.
The time slots are:
a) 7:45pm - 8.15pm
b) 8:15pm – 8.45pm
c) 8:45pm - 9.15pm
Once a time slot has been chosen, we humbly request all parents to observe their arrival time and at the same time we appreciate your patience if delays occur.
Parents will be seen by teachers on a first come, first served basis, and we may need to amend your appointment time to ensure that queues are kept to a minimum within each time slot.
We would request all to ensure that observation of both physical and social Hijab is adhered to throughout the Centre.
If we have had advance notification of a teacher being absent on the night, you may have fewer teachers to see. Please inform the administration on the night if you would like us to arrange for a specific appointment or a telephone conversation with the respective teacher not present on Parents Evening to discuss your child’s progress in his/her classes.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to Parents Evening with them, as it can be very useful for the children to hear and discuss the feedback, as well as to chart out goals for the rest of the Madressa year.

We cannot stress enough how important it is for parents/guardians to work together with the Madressa to ensure the successful Islamic upbringing of their children. Attending Parents Evening will go a long way in achieving this goal. However, in the extenuating circumstance where you are unable to attend Parents Evening, it is still important that you complete the online form and inform the Madressa about this.
The deadline to submit the online form for is Wednesday 31st August 2016.
