Dear Respected SIM Volunteers, Salaamun Alaykum

As we concluded term 1 I would like to extend - on behalf of the entire Admin team - my sincere congratulations and appreciations to you ALL for delivering what must be considered a big milestone term!

Moving home for the entire site with its logistical opportunities and challenges, DBS, TSP, EoYE, LOBS, Educare, Sadqa day, Iqra day, LS Awareness day - the list goes on and I am sure I have missed a few things ...

One thing is certain though - this could simply not have been possible without your full support for all the above! Your understanding, patience and cooperation is commendable! This was instrumental in making the transition to a new site so smooth and already on completion of term 1 we are in position to say we operate on a business as usual basis.

I fully acknowledge that it has been very intense and many initiatives than usual have been floated at the same time but I am confident that as we have now settled through the main ‘storm’ we will be so much stronger going into Term 2 IA.

Whilst admin team continuously plans the operations in close collaboration with the HoDs it goes without saying that you always keep an open channel of feedback to your HOD or directly to admin team so that we can continue improving as we go along.

Let us remind ourselves that our key objective is in the nurturing of our young minds (and perhaps ourselves also!) and only as a collective and cohesive unit can we make this happen.

As always - whilst our teaching staff are the usual focus in our many initiatives and deliverables we cannot but acknowledge and show the highest of appreciation to all the supporting volunteers like Cpv's, madressa helpers, TAs, LS etc who are instrumental and critical for the success of our overall vision.

I pray that you will have a relaxing Easter break and return to Madressa fully recharged to a new term - a term that I pray will now just be in a ‘cruise’ mode compared to Term 1.

May Allah (swt) reward you amply for your selfless service to the Madressa.

We also thank Allah (swt) to have found us worthy enough to be given the opportunity to serve Him by serving the sacred institution of our Madressa and make a positive impact that will go beyond our imagination – IA.
