Behaviour Management Policy

In your register pack this week, you will receive a pack of green, yellow and red cards to use as part of the BM policy. Please click here to remind yourself of the BM policy. A few key points to note in using the cards:

1.Green cards: Once awarded, students are supposed to hold on to their green cards. When a student reaches 10 green cards, they will exchange their 10 green cards for a gift from the gift box which is kept in the office. You do not need to keep a record of green cards, it is the onus of the student to keep these safe.

2.Yellow card (1st and 2nd offences): As soon as you issue a card, you must show it to the student and place it on their desk. It is very important that you then mark the sheet behind the register, in order for the next teacher to be aware that this student is on a first or second yellow card. The last lesson teacher should then take the card from the student’s desk and put it back into the register pack. Admin will then send an email out to the respective parents at the end of the day, based on the mark on the sheet behind the register.

3.Red card (3rd offence): When handing out a red card to the student, please ask him to visit the office with the red card, accompanied by the assistant teacher or a responsible student. Admin will then speak to him and call in his parents. Please mark the sheet behind the register.

Teacher's Charter

A reminder that every volunteer at the S I Madressa must adhere to the Teachers Charter found in your Teachers Manual (click here).

You are requested to review the document and confirm Acceptance of your obligation to adhere to the charter by signing this form: Click here.

Please note that there is also an option of “Not accepting the T&C” in which case your HOD will discuss with you how to resolve the matter in an amicable way.
