Thank You Message from the Principal

As the Academic Year 2016 comes to an end, and two teaching weeks remain, I would like to express my utmost appreciation for your selfless dedication and contribution to the Madressa and the mission of imparting the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (AS) to our children.

Needless to say, my gratitude extends to not only teaching volunteers but equally to all other volunteers who contribute to the smooth running of the Madressa on a weekly basis. - every volunteer's contribution is essential for our Madressa to operate successfully.

I can only say a simple 'Thank You', and only Allah (SWT) can reward you duly for the selfless service you provide to our esteemed institution and the impact you will have in nurturing our children well beyond their time at Madressa.

Our 3rd and final term will end on Sunday 18th December, 2016 with a Theme-based event day. However, it is a normal teaching week and regular attendance is mandatory to deliver a successful event and end the term on a celebratory note; both students and teachers alike.

Please take a few moments to read the important updates outlined below.

I wish you and your families a good and spiritual break and look forward to seeing you back at the Madressa on Sunday 8thJanuary 2017. This first week of the new Academic Year 2017 will be our mandatory Teachers Induction Day.

Salaams & Du'as

Term 3 Marks & Report Cards
Due 15 Dec, 2016

Term 3 Assessments - Marks

Upload of marks to the Teachers portal - marks are out of 100%. For details on how to upload please refer to the user guide link below.

Updating Report Cards
As a class teachers you would have completed reports on student performance for Term 1 & 2.

Using the SAME report, you are asked to review the comments made last time and update as needed taking into consideration the student performance in Term 3 - you are NOT asked to create new reports but to just review the existing ones and update as needed.

This will then form the final report for the students that Parents can take part of and also fellow teachers and more importantly it will help future teachers to understand past performance which they can use to further nurture the students in the right direction.

Recruiting Teachers and Assistants

The S I Madressa is looking for new teachers and assistants for their 2017 Academic Year. Reach out to your friends and family members to be a part of the team that makes a difference!

They don't have to be the core teacher for the class. Join the team as an assistant in classrooms, or a support aide for children with special needs. Together, we can journey towards nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

If they can dedicate even a few hours on a Sunday morning, in whatever capacity, guide them to visit www.madressa.net and register their interest.
