Late Student Pick-up
Classes 1-4:
If you have not collected your child(ren) by 1.25pm, or are a volunteer who cannot collect your child until 1:30pm, your child will be escorted to the dining area and must be collected from there.
Classes 5-7 (and any other late pick ups):
Children will be escorted to the dining hall at 1:40pm.
Parents must come through the reception area (main gate) as side doors will not be accessible after 1:45pm and make their way to the dining hall to pick up their child(ren).
HED Students cannot leave premises
Students in Higher Educations (11 and 12) will not be allowed to leave the premises at any time during the Madressa day. As protocol, they are to attend for the full day and will be granted permission to leave along with all other students.
Required Resources for Qur'an Appreciation
Each child in Classes 5 - 10 is required to bring their own copy of the Qur'an with english translation, each week to the Madressa. This 'personal Qur'an' is to help the student build a personal connection.
While these specific translations are highly recommended, it is only a recommendation. What is essential is that each student has a copy of the Quran with translation to bring with them on Sundays.
Packed Lunch and Mohr/Turbah
Please provide a healthy snack or packed lunch for your child. Only bottled water will be permitted during class time. No fizzy drinks allowed during Madressa.
There is no catering facility on site at present, so students must bring their own lunch.
Each student should bring a Mohr/Turbah for Salah time.
Using the Parent Portal
The Parent Portal is an online platform for the S I Madressa where you can view your child(ren)'s student profile, pay fees, update details, report absences, communicate directly with your child(ren)'s teachers, and more.
View the Parent Portal Guide to see how you can use these different features.
