Updating Report Cards
As a class teachers you would have completed reports on student performance for Term 1 & 2.

Using the SAME report, you are asked to review the comments made and update as needed taking into consideration the student performance in Term 3.

This will then form the final report for the students that Parents can take part of and also fellow teachers and more importantly it will help future teachers to understand past performance which they can use to further nurture the students in the right direction.

Recruiting Teachers and Assistants

The S I Madressa is looking for new teachers and assistants for their 2017 Academic Year. Reach out to your friends and family members to be a part of the team that makes a difference!

They don't have to be the core teacher for the class. Join the team as an assistant in classrooms, or a support aide for children with special needs. Together, we can journey towards nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.

If they can dedicate even a few hours on a Sunday morning, in whatever capacity, guide them to visit www.madressa.net and register their interest.

Learning 4 Life Day - 18 Dec, 2016

On the last day of the term we will be having a theme based day where students will be engaged in practical activities - details are currently being finalised and will be communicated in due course.

ALL teachers are asked to be present on this final day to be part of the programme and contribute to a positive conclusion of the year.

What is The Harbinger of Hussain?

A two part play (150 min running time)

PART I (90min) is the historical account of Muslim ibn Aqeel, an individual living in 7th Century CE who served as a selfless emissary to deliver a message of peace and unity to lands in Mesopotamia against all odds. The message was written by Imam Hussain, who took a stand against social injustices, discrimination on faith grounds and intolerance when nobody else dared to. His letter invited people of all backgrounds to join him in bringing about unity and interfaith harmony.

INTERVAL (30min)

PART II (60min) focusses on the three sons of Muslim ibn Aqeel who stood for the same virtues as their father in supporting Imam Hussain before meeting a similar fate. Their resolution in dedicating their lives for the cause of good presents young people and children with a resolve to value steadfastness, patience and Godliness in testing times of the present day.
